Spring is an exciting time of year. The days are getting longer, birds are chirping, and the familiar hum of the neighbor’s lawn mower reminds us that summer has arrived!

Right now, your lawn and landscape is emerging from dormancy and any day now you may notice buds on the trees and some bright green in the turf. While there may be an urge to panic and rush to perform fertilizer treatments and spring clean ups to get a head start – it is important not to overlook how unpredictable Wisconsin weather can be.

Often the first seemingly nice days of spring are interrupted by some kind of flash winter storm that washes out new mulch, freezes sensitive plant material, and ruins all the benefits of a spring clean up.

We believe a good spring clean up means timing it appropriately to get the most value for the services. After all, you want your property to look nice for the season – not just until a lingering winter storm washes it all away.
